Meet Kelly
I am from South Louisiana and spent some time in South Mississippi finishing my education. I worked as a family therapist for some years but was ready to focus on my own family. My first child was born as I was still working part time in 2013 and then came my second little one in 2016 and I was then officially a stay at home mom of two.
Those years are some of the most memorable in my life, for many reasons. Through my own parenting journey, I've learned many things, but definitely don't know it all. I love sitting with other parents, whether they're brand new, expecting, or veterans. Being a parent makes life so rich and so rewarding.
I have always felt a drive to contribute to my community. I wanted to use my skills and talents to offer support to moms and families in my community. After much thought, and with the support my husband David, I started South Coast Baby Company in September 2017. In true character, I dove straight in and was able to open the store January 6, 2018!
I am very excited to have the opportunity to hopefully impact the lives of families in the community and be a part of this great place with so many wonderful people.

Kelly has a Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from the University of Southern Mississippi. Kelly graduated in 2011 and is licensed in the state of Louisiana.

Our Name
We wanted a name that represented what we want our company to be. Something that identifies with our culture as well as encompasses our passion for supporting families.
Kelly's paternal family has owned and operated a local business with a very similar name, and we loved the play on the name. Kelly also wanted to incorporate her family's company emblem as well. Can you find it in our logo?
