South Coast baby is one of my favorite kid shops in Louisiana! Kelly is so friendly, personable, and the customer care she gives is literally the best. I live out of state and she remembers my mom who shops there and my family when I happen to be in town shopping. She recommends products that she thinks (well, knows because she’s that good) that we will like without being pushy! Not only do I love my shopping experience when I go, but my son does also! Win, win! She also has such a fun selection of items.

I love how unique this store is. So much to see and so many useful products! Don't get me started on the toys! We are starting our own SoCo Baby toy store at home! And the owner is the sweetest. Besides supplying awesome natural family products, she is also giving back to the community with awesome support groups. She is always willing to help and is so kind to my children who love to dismantle the store! A visit to SoCo Baby is a very enjoyable outing for us!

I told the owner I would be using it that weekend, and she made sure I was fit and comfortable with it before leaving the store! I’m currently 28 weeks pregnant with baby #2. I also have a 5 and a half year old, so I’ve been out of the loop for a bit. To say a lot changes in a short amount of time is an understatement.
Several people have asked about gifts, a shower, etc., but I’ve decided rather than doing that, I’d just create a registry/wish list and for those who ask, I’ll let them know about it.
With my first child, I registered at Babies R Us and Target. I was given the scanner and thrown to the wolves.
I spent TWO AND A HALF HOURS in South Coast Baby Company on Friday, March 1st. Kelly, the owner, literally got on the floor with me to show me how to use different products, her recommendations, etc. I tried on carriers, had her get breast pumps for me to look at, asked her to explain different products, so on and so forth. Not once did she make me feel like a burden or bother.
THIS is why I choose to shop local. THIS is why we should all shop local. This is her livelihood and her passion which radiates in her customer service.
I can’t recommend shopping at South Coast Baby Company enough.
